USFS Testing

The Juneau Skating club brings US Figure Skating judges to Juneau once a year to hold a US Figure Skating test session.  These US Figure Skating test sessions provide our skaters the level ranking necessary to compete at US Figure Skating sanctioned non-qualifying and qualifying competitions.  For a figure skater, qualifying competitions are the first step to national level competitions or the Olympics.  Additional virtual test sessions are also held, and coaches can now send skaters’ test to other test sessions throughout the United States.

Skaters from outside the Juneau Skating Club are welcome to participate in our test sessions.  Figure Skaters should consult their coach regarding what tests they should take and how to best prepare for testing day.
